What social value means to us

Delivering social value - even before it became a well-known term - has always been a large part of our DNA. We conduct business with our values and ethics at the heart of everything we do; particularly as technology becomes increasingly embedded into everyday life.

We work with our customers to question why we are doing something, and if it will improve the lives of those we touch, be it our employees, clients or citizens.

For the second consecutive year, Sopra Steria has ranked in the top 20 "Best Workplaces in Europe"™ list. 

For the second consecutive year, Sopra Steria has ranked in the top 20 "Best Workplaces in Europe"™ list. Great Place To Work®, the global benchmark for employee experience, highlights the company for its people-centric approach and stimulating culture. Based on the results of the Great Place To Work survey conducted in 2022, this European ranking recognises the Group's responsible employer approach.

Sopra Steria stands out in particular for:

  • Equality linked to diversity (regardless of origin 93% and regardless of sexual orientation 94%)
  • Team spirit: looking out for each other (83%) and welcoming newcomers (87%)
  • Integrity: management runs the company honestly and ethically (84%)

Commitment: employees feel they make a positive personal contribution to the organisation (78%) and are prepared to make a special effort to get things done (80%)

The "Best Workplaces in Europe"™ 2023 list includes 150 organisations already on the national "Best Workplaces"™ list. They were chosen after surveying more than 1 million employees across Europe about their experience at work in terms of trust, innovation, company values and leadership. In total, the survey results represent the work experiences of more than 2.6 million employees across Europe.
