Tessa Hughes is the Chief Technology Officer for the Public Safety Group. She is the technical lead for the Emergency Services product suite including the Command and Control system STORM.
Tessa joined Sopra Steria as a graduate Junior Developer in 2006 and has moved through several technical roles throughout her time here. With over 17 years of experience working within the Public Safety Group, Tessa holds a wealth of knowledge regarding the emergency services product suite that we produce.
Tessa is passionate about learning and developing her skills. In 2022, she completed an MSc in Software Engineering with Distinction, and has recently completed an Emerging Leaders course.
Tessa holds the values of Sopra Steria in high regard, and is very proud to be the Social Value representative for our Aerospace, Defence, and Security sector. In this role, she helps to build the Social Value strategy and leads and supports internal and external initiatives across the sector.
Tessa enjoys problem solving, looking at a customer problem and collaborating with customers and partners to find the best solution through technology and innovation.
