Andy serves as Sopra Steria’s UK Chief Technology Officer and Digital Sustainability Officer, having taken on this dual role in January 2026. Previously appointed as UK CTO in November 2021, Andy provides strategic leadership and direction for the organisation’s technical roadmap, ensuring that technology adoption and deployment maximise engineering effectiveness across the business. Andy collaborates closely with International Group colleagues, UK Business Heads and Sector Directors, as well as Strategic Sales and Marketing Directors and their senior leadership teams, to drive continuous improvement in technology and engineering capabilities, professional standards, and best practices.
Andy leads a virtual team of technology professionals, including technical architects, solution designers, and engineers, fostering alignment to Sopra Steria’s corporate vision and creating an environment that encourages engagement and forward-thinking across various improvement initiatives and new offerings. His remit also includes establishing a consistent framework for pre-sales solution design, ensuring alignment with the UK technology strategy and Group investments.
In his capacity as Digital Sustainability Officer, Andy champions the integration of sustainable practices within the digital sphere, reinforcing Sopra Steria’s commitment to responsible business and environmental stewardship. His leadership underscores the importance of technology focus and repeatability in driving the company’s UK growth strategy, while inspiring colleagues to deliver innovative and sustainable solutions that support both business objectives and wider societal impact.
