Andy Whitehurst

Andy Whitehurst brings over 26 years of experience in the IT industry to his role as Chief Technology Officer at Sopra Steria, a position he has held since November 2021. He is responsible for setting the technology strategy and direction across the UK business, working closely with all business units to align client needs, key technology partnerships, solutions, platforms, and capability development.

Andy also plays a pivotal role in shaping the Group’s go-to-market offerings and driving innovation in emerging areas such as AI and Hyper-Automation. As Chair of the AI Governance Board, he ensures that Sopra Steria’s use of AI remains legal, ethical, and sustainable.
