Tell us a bit about yourself and what your day-to-day looks like
Hi, I'm Ayman, a Sales Manager in the ServiceNow team at Sopra Steria. My day-to-day involves engaging with potential clients, understanding their business needs, and demonstrating how ServiceNow can streamline their operations and drive growth. I spend a significant amount of time building relationships, conducting market research, and collaborating with our technical teams to tailor solutions that meet our clients' unique requirements.
What is your background and what was your pathway into the technology sector?
I began my career at a VAR IT Company as a business analyst apprentice, focusing on ServiceNow. This role provided me with a solid foundation in IT service management and exposed me to the transformative power of technology in solving business challenges. Following this role, I moved to a few more IT companies. My passion for tech-driven solutions grew as I witnessed firsthand how technology could streamline processes and enhance productivity. This journey eventually led me to join the ServiceNow team at Sopra Steria, where I now specialise in helping clients optimise their IT service management and achieve their business goals.
How do you think emerging technology will impact people’s lives?
Emerging technology has the potential to significantly enhance people's lives by improving efficiency, accessibility, and connectivity. Innovations such as AI, machine learning, and automation are revolutionising the way we work and interact with technology, making processes faster and more intuitive. These advancements can lead to better decision-making, increased productivity, and ultimately, a higher quality of life.

One of my biggest inspirations is Satya Nadella, the CEO of Microsoft. His leadership and vision for leveraging technology to empower every person and organisation on the planet have profoundly influenced my perspective on the future. His emphasis on empathy, innovation, and continuous learning resonates with me and drives my approach to business development and customer engagement.
