As the England and Scotland Football Teams prepare to take on the world at the World Cup in the USA, Mexico and Canada, we're still reflecting on a fantastic day much closer to home, the QUALCO Cup 2026!
Held on Friday 22 May at AFC Wimbledon, the annual tournament once again brought together professionals from across the financial services industry for a day packed with football, networking, fundraising and plenty of post-match celebrations. More importantly,
the event raised valuable funds for Momentum Children's Charity, QUALCO UK's chosen charitable partner, helping to make a difference to families facing some of the toughest challenges.
As proud sponsors of the QUALCO Cup 2026, Sopra Steria was delighted to support an event that perfectly combines friendly competition with a meaningful cause. The tournament showcased the best of the industry, with teams putting in impressive performances
on the pitch while strengthening relationships and connections off it.
Adding to the excitement, our Financial Services Executive Client Director, Tim Tomlinson, stepped into the manager's role for the QUALCO Cougars. Leading from the sidelines, Tim helped guide the team through a day filled with determination, teamwork
and plenty of memorable moments.
Reflecting on the event, Tim said:
"The QUALCO Cup was a brilliant reminder of what makes our industry special. There was great competition on the pitch, plenty of laughs off it, and all for a great cause. Huge credit should go to Qualco, both for organsing a wonderful event and the work they do in support of Momentum Children's Charity. Managing the QUALCO Cougars was a fantastic experience, and it was great to see so many people coming together for such an important cause."
Momentum Children’s Charity supports families across South West London, Surrey and Sussex whose children are living with cancer or a life-challenging condition.
The charity provides practical and emotional support tailored to each family's needs, standing alongside them for as long as required, regardless of the outcome. Since 2004, Momentum has helped hundreds of families navigate the challenges of serious
childhood illness, ensuring that no family has to face their journey alone.
We’re proud to have played our part in an event that brought our own community together. Congratulations to everyone involved in making the QUALCO Cup 2026 such a success, and we look forward to supporting it again in the future.
