We were delighted to be part of this year’s ODI Summit - the essential data and AI conference.

Our very own, Dr Kevin Macnish, Head of Ethics and Sustainability Consulting, was part of the speaking panel on ‘Advancing trust in data: The key to creating value for society & the economy?'

In this panel discussion, Kevin joined Professor John Tasioulas, Director Institute of Ethics & AI, Mahadia Tunga, Co-Founder, Tanzania Data Lab (dLab), Rebecca Gorman, Founder & CEO, Aligned AI and Matt Celnik, Tech Lead, Growth & Innovation Energy Systems, DNV to tackle the big questions around trust in data:

  • How can we assess whether it’s safe to trust organisations with our data?
  • Can we trust the tools and platforms that we use?
  • And what does trust mean when it’s applied to data, technologies and the people who build and deploy them?
