Graham is the Senior Environment Consultant for Sopra Steria UK including the two Joint Ventures: Shared Services Connect Limited (SSCL) and NHS Shared Business Services (NHS SBS).
He has over 20 years of experience in Environmental Management and Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Reporting across a range of sectors. His responsibilities have included implementing and managing ISO 14001 and ISO 50001 environmental and energy management systems; developing environmental and climate strategies; creating and delivering environmental training programmes; and completing ESG indices and ratings such as CDP, DJSI and FTSE4Good. He has also served as the technical lead for calculating energy, waste, water and GHG emissions for both voluntary and mandatory reporting.
In his current role as Senior Environmental Consultant, Graham is the technical lead for producing corporate and contract‑level carbon and energy reports, including SECR disclosures and PPN 06/21 Carbon Reduction Plans. He is also responsible for implementing the UK Environmental Data Strategy, which provides insight to assess performance, highlight risks and opportunities, influence the decision-making process and help drive continuous improvement.
Graham’s role includes writing environmental responses for bids and developing environmental solutions that meet client needs and expectations. He also works closely with the UK Head of Climate and Environmental Sustainability, Avinash Lunj, to help define and further develop the UK Climate & Environmental Sustainability Strategy.
