Fiona started her career in public affairs and press relations. After working at the centre of UK government in the Cabinet Office and No10 communications team she spent several years working overseas on multilateral defence and security cooperation programmes and provided senior stakeholder engagement during the Brexit process. As part of this work she specialised on disinformation, cyber and technology policy and communications.
After leaving government, she spent five years working in the IT and BPO industry before joining Sopra Steria in January 2024 as Marketing and Communications Director for joint venture SSCL. Today, she is market engagement director for the BPO sector, a wide-ranging role which includes strategy development, relationship building with clients and suppliers as well as internal leadership and governance. One of her key areas of interest is environmental, social and governance strategy within business. As part of this interest she’s proud to support the social value profession within the UK and co-chairs the Sopra Steria UK’s women’s inclusion network.
