David was appointed SSCL Chief Executive Officer on 1 July 2020. Prior to joining SSCL, David was Managing Director at NHS Shared Business Services, Sopra Steria’s joint venture with the Department for Health and Social Care (DHSC). Since 2014 he has overseen a transformational agenda, putting service excellence and client satisfaction at the heart of the organisation’s strategy.
He has also driven innovation and best-of-breed technologies to expand the NHS SBS footprint and support the ongoing digital transformation of the NHS. David has previously held a number of senior leadership roles at NHS Shared Business Services, as well as senior roles at Capita and Cable and Wireless.
