David joined the company in 2010 as the Operations & Quality Director. Within 15 months he took up the role of UK Delivery Director responsible for Application Management, Infrastructure Management, Business Process Services and Testing where he had most of the delivery personnel reporting into him.
In 2016, he took up his current role as the Industrialisation Director, more commonly known as the DI Director. This corporate function is made up of senior professionals with a broad scope, including corporate security, risk, resilience and quality management, the office of the CTO, internal IT along with strategic leadership for programme and project management, and service management. David’s function works closely with the discrete UK businesses, Joint Ventures, and UK subsidiaries to create value and to provide leadership to ensure a performant and a resilient overall UK business.
He is proud to sit on the Sopra Steria UK Board and to be the executive sponsor for our Neurodiversity Network.
David lives in Yorkshire, with his wife Joanne. He has two grown up children, Abigail and William, and he is a proud Grandfather of Abigail’s first child, Cecilia. He also enjoys spending lots of time with his Australian Labradoodle, Basil who often makes an appearance on MS Teams meetings.
