Business Information Security Officer
In a career spanning 30 years, Chris has served in the Armed Forces and GCHQ before moving to industry in 2013. Since becoming a “civvy”; Chris has worked in several security disciplines (e.g., Analyst, Consultant, Operator) in the Aerospace, Public and Financial sectors. Today he works in Sopra Steria’s Aerospace Defence and Security (ADS) business, charged with providing thought leadership and strategic security advice to the ADS M/Director, her Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and wider account leads. In addition, he supports the Head of Workforce Planning and Apprenticeship Lead to identify and develop talent that helps Sopra Steria Secure Services remain relevant to its customers and their mission. Prior to his current role, he was the Head of IT Delivery Assurance for Raytheon ensuring the organisation maintained its contractual, legal, and regulatory obligations with regards to information (cyber) security.
