Belfast, Northern Ireland, 22 June 2017: Sopra Steria, a European leader in digital transformation, today announces the promotion of Mairead Hylands to the newly created position of Head of Northern Ireland,
a move which reflects the company’s commitment to growth in the region.
Mairead Hylands brings to the role over 20 years of experience delivering major business and IT change programmes in Northern Ireland. Since joining Sopra Steria in 2006, Mairead has held the title of Client Services Manager, Managing Consultant and, most recently, Client Director for the business. Major projects Mairead has led include work with the Department of Agriculture, Environment and Rural Affairs (DAERA), as well as various large scale projects across the Department of Justice
In her new position, Mairead will head up a team of over 80 full-time employees based in Sopra Steria’s Belfast office. The role assumes responsibility for maintaining exceptional service delivery, the recruitment of staff, and driving growth and building new relationships in Northern Ireland.
