Sopra Steria excited to join organisations around the world celebrating International Women's Day 2017

   22 February, 2017: We live and work in a diverse society where people from all different backgrounds contribute to our culture, economy and business. Diversity improves business outcomes - for example, by making us more innovative and improving governance.

Marked since the early 1900s, International Women’s Day is a global day to recognise the economic, social and cultural contributions of women while also raising awareness of gender disparity. This year’s campaign theme is #BeBoldForChange - a call for people to help forge a better working world and a more gender inclusive world.

  On Wednesday 8 March, we will join the global conversation about gender diversity, including how to unlock the estimated $12 trillion global economic growth from improving economic participation by women, and the risks for the tech industry as a result of the underrepresentation of women. We will celebrate International Women’s Day by holding events – open to both men and women - at a number of our UK office locations which will feature external speakers from a variety of sectors and backgrounds, as well as some of our own women in leadership positions.
