The theme of the event is 'Empowering People' and potential speakers from across the UK were invited to submit proposals for one of the precious 12 speaking slots. The submissions were then voted on by digital leaders from across the UK.
Competition was fierce, and Tom was chosen to speak about using Digital to deliver better outcomes for rural communities and Government as part of the Digital Public Services Session. Tom will also facilitate a table discussion with support from our Head of Digital, Alasdair Hendry, as well as being part of the panel of experts during the afternoon sessions.
Tom will also present the Central Government Category award at the Annual Digital Leaders 100 awards dinner being held on the evening of the 18th of June, after the ND14 conference.
