The PSMA Annual Conference 2017 is looking at the geospatial needs of the public sector going forward.

Sopra Steria works with a range of public sector organisations delivering geospatial programmes which are providing innovative online digital public services and driving real change for service users. One example of this is the work we are doing with Cleveland Police.

At the Conference, Sopra Steria’s Julie Snell will be presenting with Graham Jones, Research Assistant in the Business Transformation Unit at Cleveland Police, "Ordnance Survey data gets Cleveland Police Out on the Beat". The presentation will cover iMap a customised web-mapping application that Sopra Steria has developed in conjunction with the Force that provides officers with quick and easy access to a wide range of information about their local neighbourhoods and the operational benefits it is delivering, such as, more effective problem solving and better engagement with partners and local communities.
