The next Digital Leaders Northern Ireland salon is titled “Social media as a channel for communication".
Social media is used in both the public and private sector as a means of communicating with employees, the public and other stakeholders. It is a powerful and informative tool that gives people an instant means of obtaining and sharing information. Each interaction is recorded and stored for future use on the WWW. As such, it can be destructive if not used correctly.
Led by Tim McKane from Navajo and Michael King from Cleaver Fulton Rankin, the Salon will discuss all of the above and more.
