A real job from day one, plus professional training to develop your career
As one of the top 30 suppliers of IT Services to the UK market* we are committed to providing young people at the start of their career with the opportunity to gain excellent experience in delivering services and solutions to world-class clients in both the public (e.g., government departments, local authorities and emergency services) and private (e.g., retail companies, water and electricity companies and banks) sectors.
We place apprentices in a variety of roles across technical and business streams in our office locations or at client sites throughout the UK. We look for young people with a passion and aptitude for working in an IT environment, interested in learning new skills and technologies and ambitious to develop to their full potential – while earning money right from the start.
Sopra Steria places great emphasis on supporting young people facing the working world for the first time – remembering that we started our own careers with little knowledge or experience and feeling like a small fish in a big pond!
As well as on-the-job training, we also offer professional training from our partners to assist apprentices study for recognised technology qualifications which will lay strong foundations for developing a career as one of Sopra Steria’s future technology or business leaders.
Says Sopra Steria's Apprentice & Graduate Programme Manager: “Through our apprentice programme we are looking to bring youth and talent into the business to support our strategic growth from the bottom up. We look for innovation, energy and commitment from our apprentices and in return we provide training and support to achieve industry recognised qualifications. The motivated and dynamic apprentices who join us today could easily develop into the business and technical leaders of tomorrow.”
