CDP is an international NGO providing the only global environmental disclosure system.

We are leaders in managing Climate Change and Environmental Sustainability by achieving, for both 2013 and 2014, a score of 100 in information disclosure and an “A” for our performance.

We are one of only 29 companies out of over 4,700 across the world to achieve these scores and places us on the SBF 250 CPLI and CDLI, annual indices compiled by CDP:

  • The CPLI highlights those companies listed on the “Société des Bourses Françaises” 250 Index that demonstrate strategies committed to improving their impact on the environment
  • The CDLI recognises those that have displayed a strong approach to the disclosure of information regarding climate change

Our expert consultants carry out IT security health checks to identify vulnerabilities in IT systems and networks which may compromise the confidentiality, integrity or availability of information held on that IT system. The IT Health Check Service, or CHECK, was developed to enhance the availability and quality of the IT health check services that are provided to government. Companies belonging to CHECK are measured against high standards set by CESG. Therefore, customers can be assured that they will receive a high-quality service if the work is carried out by our CHECK accredited consultants.

CLAS is the Government's CESG Listed Adviser Scheme.

CLAS is a partnership linking the unique Information Assurance knowledge of CESG with the expertise and resources of the Private Sector. Our highly experienced consultants are part of the Scheme's pool of high-quality consultants approved by CESG to provide Information Assurance advice to government departments and other organisations who provide vital services for the United Kingdom.

The CIPS Sustainability Index

We are a Rated Supplier on the CIPS Sustainability Index, which was developed to create a consistent sustainability measurement to support purchasing and, in doing so, create significant time and cost efficiencies.

In a Business environment a sustainable business is typically expressed as an enterprise that has no negative impact on the global or local environment, community, society, or economy. Many organisations group their sustainability activities together under a Corporate and Social Responsibility (CSR) policy. The CIPS Sustainability Index uses the academic definition of social, economic and environmental criteria to underpin its methodology and approach. A key element in being recognised as a sustainable business is to understand the sustainability credentials of your supply base. This is both from a pure sustainability standpoint, i.e. wanting to use suppliers where possible who have the same values, but also as part of business risk strategy.

Cyber Growth Partnership - UK Government

Sopra Steria is approved as UK Cyber Supplier to Government. Developed by the Cyber Growth Partnership the scheme enables cyber security suppliers to the UK government to be able to reference this fact publicly.

The Government Digital Marketplace (G-Cloud)

G-Cloud is a UK Government initiative to encourage the adoption of cloud services across the whole of the public sector. It is simplifying how the public sector buys and delivers services by creating a pay-as-you-go marketplace (Digital Marketplace) of commodity services that can be easily scaled up or down, based on the changing needs of a business and its users. G-Cloud is currently in its 7th iteration, with more suppliers and services being added.

Sopra Steria is currently listed across all four lots on the Digital Marketplace (G-Cloud).
