Edinburgh, 26 September 2017: Sopra Steria sponsors the #DigiInventorsChallenge in association with Andy Murray and the Digital Health & Care Institute – open to teenagers across Scotland who are competing to develop a new invention that will transform health, fitness and wellbeing amongst the nation’s young people using technology.
We were part of the judging team earlier this year which saw entries that included everything from fitness apps, gaming controllers and online challenges reduced to a list of six finalist teams and look forward to working with them at the #DigiInventorsBootcamp on 27 and 28 September in Glasgow.
Here, they will attend master classes and workshops hosted by digital and industry experts to learn the skills that will hone their ideas with the aim of producing a 'dragons den-style' presentation to a panel of expert judges.
The winning team will see their idea come to life through the Digital Health & Care Institute’s innovation model as well as developing the skills and experience needed to make their idea a success – as well as an impressive prize package and recognition for their school, college or youth group.
The #DigiInventorsChallenge is also supported by Aberlour Childcare Trust, Entrepreneurial Scotland, GameChanger, Scottish Enterprise, Scottish Institute for Enterprise, Skills Development Scotland, Young Enterprise Scotland and Young Scot.
